Kirin Dreams is an independent game studio devoted to inspiring stories of pathos and whimsy, where characters walk between moonlight and razors. We hope to create games and content for international audiences, incorporating the ideas and themes from both Eastern and Western storytellers.
This (currently) tiny company was founded by Jason Fryer, ENNIE-award winner and nominee, who has worked on multiple projects, such as Hearts of Ravensdale, KULT: Divinity Lost, Through the Breach, AMP, and HP Lovecraft’s Preparatory School (PIP edition). This includes the ENNIE-nominated, Beyond Darkness & Madness, the gamemaster’s guide to KULT: Divinity Lost.
Kirin Dreams upholds a strict no-AI policy for creation, and is devoted to supporting artists, designers, and writers, both new and old. Human creativity and imagination are fundamental precepts in storytelling.
We hope to begin production of projects for established games shortly and begin our the first of our personal game lines in 2027.
